Helen, how can you want to live in a place you've never even seen?

I live here and think it's the greatest city in the world. MacArthur - your description is wonderful - says it all.

It's a pretty expensive place to live compared to other cities.

It's never boring, EVER. There is so much to do, and there's so much to see.

I however, have never been in the Empire State Building nor on Ellis Island or to the Statue of Liberty. But that's just because I was born and raised here, haha. But I suggest seeing them, just because they're part of NYC.

Canal Street also has the best fake Louis Vuitton bags in the world.

Pure electricity. NYC has this energy flow like no other city in the world. It's not as beautiful as Paris, not as dignified as London, but NYC has a power surge like no other city in the world. Expensive, yes. That' why most live in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx unless they are wealthy. Scary, only the money pit at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.

It is the best! The Big Apple. New York is expensive but there are jobs available.
