I've had it with churches. Been going since I was a baby and one big problem is that you never get past the bible 101. Actually it is worse than that, a preacher's main thing is to convert the non-believer. So a big part of alot of services are geared to total noobs. It's like if you are in the 12th grade but still going to classes that are supposed to be interesting to first graders.

Next is that at some point every club and organization stops being about what it is supposed to be about and starts being about being a club or organization. All the power plays, cliques and infighting and politics that are all about humans interacting as a group and the reason for being there gets distorted and pushed aside.

Like Sam Kennison said, if Jesus walked into a church he would wonder what the hell all this stuff had to do with the things he said.

So I read a bit of CS Lewis and wish that church on Sunday was like a community ed class on the bible, then I would go.

But I really should go to pick up girls. This is where all the nice pretty ones are. I'm too square for the bar scene, and too hip for Sunday school.

True Christians, those who have accepted Jesus Christ , as their personal Saviour...
Are all ready to go home.
Church is sorta like an extenuation of your family.
The Body of Christ.
Yeah, I actually think I should go.
But I would rather stay here and see if there is a way that I can Bless You. So you see, I am in Church.
May the Lord God Almighty come into your Heart and soul and give you the true and unconditional love you so long to feel.
God Bless you.
May you feel the peace, love, strength, comfort and compassion; which can only come from the One, who Created all things.
In Jesus Holy Name.
I pray for you, that you may seek His, Gods, Unconditional Love.
But first I pray, that He, the Lord God Almighty, will open up your heart, and allow you to feel His presence.
I really hope you have a terriffic day.
God Bless you!
In every part of your life.
Good Day.

My Church doesn't start for another hour and I am ready to go. What better way to spend a few minutes than hopefully witnessing and sharing God's Word and info with others. After all, THAT is what Church is REALLY about. Have a Blessed day and thanks for the question. :)

I'm getting ready right now. For many other Christians, though, it might not be time for church yet, due to the varying time zones. I often go to church on Saturday nights. Today, I'm working with the church music for the morning services, as well.

Personally I prefer Christians who stay away from organized religion. I'm sure there are a couple of good churches in the world, but for the most part it doesn't seem to do any good.

Christ is within, so there's nowhere to go really.

Anyway, if you're off to church, have a good day.

yaa your right, I'm not gonna lie, I need to go finish getting ready, but I still have 45 minutes till we leave, but yah as Christians we should be getting ready for church and to meet God at this time, and not on here.
