Ok so here's the scenario... say two couples go out to a restaraunt, Guy A and his wife and Guy B and his wife, Guy A holds the door open and both wives walk through, now does Guy B walk in or does Guy B get the door and let Guy A go in....I ask this cause my boyfriend and I go out with another couple and there is usually a 10 minute debate on which guy is going to go in first....just wondering....

Whoever gets to the door first holds it open for everyone else in the party.
Really I think the 'guy always holds the door' etiquette should be done away with as old fashioned, doors aren't that hard to operate. If it's convenient, by all means it's nice if the guy holds the door. But I've been with guys who were so set on this that they'd rush past me to get to the door first even if they'd have to push past for that, or who, when they had their hands full, insisted to struggle with the door anyhow, then half-blocked it because they were carrying so much! That kind of stuff (or 10-minute debates on who gets to hold the door) is just silly, etiquette is supposed to make life more pleasant, not more difficult. Door etiquette should be whoever gets to the door first opens it for the rest, and/or whoever has their hands free opens it for those who've got their hands full. Much more convenient and thus much more pleasant, that's what good manners are about, not sticking to the rules and fighting over them!

Guy B holds the door for guy A, because it's only fair to Guy A, because Guy A let Guy B's wife in the door. Guy B should be greatful for that.

allways the ladys first in bars or restaurant, then guy A before guy B.
Guy B have to do that to thank guy A for holding the door for wife B.

I think it is polite for Guy B to put his hand on the door and gesture Guy A to go in first but if Guy A is insistent, then it is better if Guy B just goes in.
