hi everybody, I have a diagram that shows the global warming effects of CO2, H2O and the NOX. and as I see, the CO2 effect is decreasing as the altitude increase until 11 km.
what is the reason of this ?

That's the way the greenhouse effect works. The amount of energy coming in from the Sun is constant, yet the planet gets hotter. Why? Because more heat is trapped at the surface. That means that less heat escapes into the upper atmosphere. In the statosphere, it's actually getting cooler as a result of the increased greenhouse effect. This is one way we know that the current episode of global warming is due to the greenhouse effect, and not other factors.

CO2 is a relatively heavy atmospheric gas and it's concentration is greater near the surface of the Earth. Are you saying your diagram INCREASING CO2 affects above 11km?

An individual airplane emits a lot, but not near as much as a power plant. There just aren't near as many airplanes as cars, trucks, etc.
So airplanes are a relatively small source of CO2. Which is good, since right now there's no good substitute for fossil fuels for them, as there are for other things.

U should check your figures again. CO2 is so heavy it is used as a fire extinguisher. When it comes out the exhaust of the plane it cools and falls like a rock.

probably one of the layers of the atmosphere,
but i would fact check that.
