Your mom is a little stuck on herself. Women are beautiful the way they are. Mom's are suppose to be the most accepting of all of them. You are fine girl, there is nothing wrong with having a little meat on your bones. I think all of those vogue girls look a little sick anyway.

Ugh! I am sure you are fine just the way you are. And really purging is not the answer. I love my mother to death, however I was a dancer when I was younger and my mom noticed ever OUNCE I gained and told me about it, so eventually I started starving myself and purging when I did eat. When I turned 17 however I quit dancing at the company I was at and kept with the small studio, and I got help for my weight. I did gain a lot of weight at first, and I am still no skinny girl, however I am happy with myself and love myself. It's not easy in today's society to not be a size 2 and feel that way.
As for your mother, I don't know what it is about some moms. My mother also told me how thin she was. She even went to the extent and when I was pregnant with my son, informed me that she weighed a lot less when SHE was pregnant with ME. I have learned to ignore her, she isn't happy that now she isn't that 96 lbs she used to be, so she is going to pick at me becasue I must not be happy either.
Try exorsizing once a day doing some cardio, even if it is just walking around the block, you may not shed lbs but you will certanily FEEL better. Or maybe if you really want to tone up, look into getting a personal trainer and tell mom she can spring for it since she is so concearned about your weight. Maybe talk to a nutritionist about you issues with food before it gets too out of hand. Good luck! and stay safe and healthy!

Purging is DEADLY, so stop that. And everyone else needs to step back and let you live your life. Confidence and self-esteem are things that many people don't have, so the fact that you once had it means you're a STRONG person! Don't let anybody rob you of that - even your mother! Tell all the nay-sayers that you don't appreciate them chipping away at your self-esteem and if they don't have anything positive to say, you would rather not hear anything from them at all. And when your mom reminds you of how small she was at your age, remind her that YOU are not HER! Hold your head up high, beautiful one!

May I just point out that purging is unhealthy?
Also, there is no need for you to be unhappy with yourself because your mother is criticizing your weight. You need to confront her about this, because the last thing you need at your age is an eating disorder.
If you want to lose extra weight, go for a jog, hit the gym, whatever. Eat less, exercise more. It's about self-discipline, and moderation, too. Don't starve yourself or purge to get thin, because you can cause lasting damage to your body and mind.

Well first of all your own mother shouldn't be treating you like that. She should be supportive in helping you lose the weight and not putting you down. Everybody is beautiful fat or thin. The point is you need to love yourself and not care what others think of you. You are beautiful and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

U're beautiful with the way u're, although the others think that u're fat but if u're happy with that just ignore the others words. The most important thing is you're healthy and happy, not become like a model. And ur mommy should consider about ur happiness too. Maybe u should talk about this to ur mom.Cheer up.GBU^^

One should always respect one's parent but I'd have to say ignore what your mother is telling you. If YOU'RE happy with your looks then don't change. Most girls don't have that 90lb model look anyway, and thank God for that. A little meat on the bones is a good thing.

Be the way you are. My Mom use to tell me I was Fat. Now that I lost a lot of weight, she tells me that she thinks I am Anorexic . Some Moms are just very critical. Just live for yourself, YOU are the MOST important.

from purging? thats not good hon. i am 36c and to be honest i'm not totally happy with myself yet, but that's from the inside. if your happy with yourself dont let anyone else bring you down. dont worry about being like someone in vogue even they are airbrushed, but just try and eat healthy, do something physical that you like, like dancing. dont worry about weight, it's only a number, you are beautiful! you dont need anyone to tell you that. besides some people love more curvacious women and dont like skinny girls so be yourself. dont listen to your mom
