i have been dating this guy for sometime now and everything is quite smooth. iam 20 and he is 22, i asked how many children he would like to have someday and when he would like to get married. and he said no children , no marriage. so can someone please tell me his reasons for dating me? he says he loves me and he really shows it , but can someone please tell me how to express to him how i feel about all this , cause i want to get married , have kids . i donot want to dated forever. why do you think he said it ? i want to talk to him about this but what do i say HELP?

You can date someone and not want to have children. You can love someone and not want to be married. How do you not understand that?

Love isn't always enough. People need common goals, they need to be working together as the perfect team.

To get what you want in life you have to know what you want and work toward that goal. If you want to marry and have children it is counterproductive to stay with a guy who does not.

I'm 40 and have never wanted children until recently I'm sad I don't have kids to do things with...and even with that feeling I have no desire to be near a baby for any amount of time.

I would marry if I found my perfect partner, but even then it is kind of dumb to marry, and get into a one sided legal agreement if not to give children a name and a traditional home.
