NO.

ALL dogs are lactose intolerant. it can give him severe stomach pain, cramps and diarrhea. even if he looks ok, it doesnt mean he is feeling great.... and it doesnt mean that the next time you give it to him he wont get diarrhea.

dogs dont need cows milk, so why risk it??

No! Cows milk is not good for dogs but I don't know about goat milk and would assume not. Why do you want to give an 8 week old puppy milk anyway? At that age they should be on solid food as even the mama won't want to nurse with all those baby teeth!

Not sure what puppies you have there as there is no such breed as the 'Golden Labrador' (only yellow Labs and Golden Retrievers) but no, cows milk is NOT good for any dog. If you must feed them milk, feed them puppy replacement milk. You will be able to find it at almost any supermarket or pet store. Many dogs are lactose intolerant and will get diarrhea and an upset tummy from cows milk.

Why do you think the colour or even breed would make any difference? No young animal but a calf should drink cow's milk. Certainly your puppies will drink it, but they will then get diahorrea. You can buy puppy milk from the supermarket, but if the dogs are eating puppy food (as opposed to older dog's food), it will contain calcium. The only drink they will need is water.

Most dogs are lactose intolerant, please dont feed it to your pups. Oh and by-the-way.... there are sooooo many mixes out there nowadays....yes, I have heard of golden labs...even knew a breeder of them but she mostly specialized in goldendoodles....smile

Dogs and cats do not have the proper enzymes to properly break down the sugar in milk which is called 'lactose.' You may have heard of people who are lactose-intolerant. They are also missing these digestive enzymes. If the proper enzymes are not present, the lactose remains undigested and tends to ferment in the intestine and cause diarrhea. Some pets can tolerate a little milk, others, none at all. If your pet enjoys and appears to tolerate milk, you can give your pet small amounts. Better yet, give your pet one of the special cat or dog milks on the market that have had the lactose removed.

I have and 8wk old beagle mix and she's fully on dry food by now. Dogs who drink milk can experience vomiting, diarrhea and painful stomach cramping. Don't count on that to keep them from drinking it the next time it's offered though. They will rarely turn it down even though it's not great for them.
