While you're typing your answer, someone else answers with a shorter answer that is basically the same as yours? I hate it when that happens.

Yeah. Happens all the time. Especially since I'm such a slow typist and perfectionist when it comes to spelling.

Nah, what gets me is when there are 15 answers the exact same. Ex: No...or Yes.
I mean seriously, just vote for the answer you're about to duplicate.

i usually just type my answer without looking at anyone's response. Otherwise answers wouldn't original or different.
I don't even bother looking again after I finish answering the question.

Yeah and it says 'be the first to answer this question and when you do it , you find there are so many answers before you that you find yourself on the second page,

You want to be first? Type hi! and submit it. Then go back and edit it....you'll have all the time you want to finish typing, and still appear in whatever position the hi! was!
