Sounds like a sugar imbalance. Did he check your blood sugar levels for diabetes?

You can eat very regularly and spread your consumtion throughout the day .... just plan your meals every day beforehand... you need to be looking for a daily calorie deficit of about 500 to 1000 below the number of calories it takes to maintain your current weight. Use a calculator like this...http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

It sounds like your blood sugar is bottoming out. Ask your doctor about a glucose tolerance test, they'll be able to tell if you're diabetic or hypoglycemic. I've had hypoglycemia since I was at least 13, and I'm 20 now. Some things I've learned are to eat a lot of protein and fruits, and avoid things that are loaded with sugar because your sugar will spike really high but bottom out really fast and you could pass out. Hypoglycemia also can cause you to get very angry and sometimes violent when your sugar is low. Keep something with you wherever you go in the event that your sugar does drop, like glucose tablets or peanut butter crackers.

You may be on the wrong diet. You only want to limit your intack of fat and carb. You should increase everything else (vitamin & minerals). You should also keep fruits very close by. Eat a fruit every 1/2 hour (apple, orange, cluster of grape)

Could be related to low blood sugar. I would recommend getting back in touch with your dr to let them know what's going on to find out if you are hypoglycemic or some other problem is going on to cause this.
