Science doesn't deal in proof, it deals in evidence.
Proof only counts in math and alcohol.
In other words, there's precious little you can "prove", including your own existence.
You can, however, have plenty of evidence, and that is all atheists want for the existence of a god or gods.
Evidence. Considering the mountains of evidence we have to support evolution, you would think there'd be a hell of a lot more evidence for the being who is claimed to have created everything. Strangely enough, there's *no* evidence for any such being.

I guess I have to keep saying it over and over again. Science and religion have nothing to do with each other. The belief in God does not require proof, nor does someone's belief in God disprove evolution. I am convinced that a belief in God, and a knowledge of science can exist within the same mind. Or you can go either way. But at any rate, belief in God does not require proof. That, in fact, contradicts the whole point behind faith. That is why God is such a personal thing for people. Each person sees a different version of God because each persons faith is different. Whether you believe in God or not does not change the validity of scientific fact backed by proof. So, in essence, you have presented a faulty question designed to insult people. Furthermore, by the way you phrased your question, it seems like you are hoping someone will present you with proof so that you know what to believe. It seems to be a pretty common thing among militant atheists. You might take a page from Richard Dawkins and present rational evidence rather than inflammatory comments and questions :). That way you can actually prove your point, rather than just looking like you are trying to start a fight :)....... Oh just so you know I am not skewed towards religion, I am disappointed every time I see people that do believe in God spouting gross generalizations about atheists. Therein lies the problem with these arguments. Both sides throw out gross generalizations like all atheists this or all Christians that. It just doesn't make sense to me. How does anyone ever prove their point......

maximum religions deny medical proofs which tutor they're incorrect approximately very almost each and every little thing. by making use of insisting that technological know-how tutor its theories of evolution, Christians and different faiths steer away from the indisputable fact that the onus is on them to tutor creationism and different non secular claptrap including an imaginary afterlife and punishment in hell or rewards in heaven. between the few sentences interior the Bible that I accept as true with - and consistent with possibility the shortest interior the English language - is "Jesus wept". i understand the sensation.

The proof that God exists is in everything around you, EVERYTHING. The world, the universe for that matter, is far to complex and finely tuned to be chalked off as "chance". Also, evolution assumes so much with absolutely no backing whatsoever. Belief in evolution requires more "blind faith" then belief in God

Paul said the world itself is proof that God exists. The stars and the plants and animals everything is proof of a God. From your question, it seems like you since you can't provide me with proof of evolution, maybe you should reconsider evolution.

That's why I don't demand proof.
However (and I am REALLY going to be hated for this), I've come to the conclusion that an atheist is a person who requires more evidence to believe in God than they do to NOT believe in God. I believe this from experience as well; I felt that I would not believe in God until God Himself came down to me. What I didn't realize was that it didn't work that way.
There's plenty of evidence that suggests a Creator, but it takes a truly open mind to see it.
I know people are going to hate this answer, and that's fine, but I'm telling the truth as I see it, and I do mean it with the utmost respect.

Why not, it is exactly blind faith in Evolution. Where is the Missing Link?
so in order to believe Evolution, we have to take a leap of faith and believe that the missing link has been found.

Look around you. See all them planets and stars and trees and stuff?
Who do you think came up with all that?
Saying the Big Bang might be true but even the Big Bang had to have something that inititiated it.
All that matter had to come from somewhere.
If you want to be purely scientific, absolutely nothing should exist anywhere.
God put it all out there so it can evolve as He intended.

Actually, considering the evidence, it takes more blind faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in God. (smile)
Evolution has "order out of chaos" as it's foundational premise. Chaos is only brought into order by a guiding intelligence.
Realize that, and evolution falls apart.
