I wasnt pregnant, just fat a little bit and it happened that all the fat was on my stomach. So now I have strechmarks and I was wondering if I can remove them. Can dermatologists do something about it?

Hi. Cocoa butter and Vit E are all good. You can also try using an exfoliator to use gently in the shower, maybe on one of them pouf things. I found that helped me out too as I had a few stretch marks on my sides just from growing into a woman! and now you can barely see them! Also drink plenty of water and exercise.Hope this helps.x

Stretch marks are caused due to strecthin of skin mainly due to pregnancy or obesity... this leads to breaking of the elastic fibres which is not reversible.. hence strectch marks cannot be cured but can be lightened with the use of certain ointments and medications.. depending on your condition your dermatologist will prescribe you the percentage of these medications..

I have tried everything possible to get rid of stretch marks,I used some of the things people have suggested here for months.coca butter and vitamin E are good to prevent stretch marks,I think your best bet is to see a dermatologist I think they use a laser to minimize scar tissue.
Many blessings,
Margaret.

I had sooooo much strectch marks and my mom bought me this cocoa butter, it contains vitamin e coconut oil and cocoa butter. i sued it daily for two weeks and they were gone. The bottle is only 1$ in the 99 cent store. It worked great, don't spend your money on some pricey.
