Welcome to the world of the pu55y cat, we have 2 and both are very different, one is REALLY tempremental at the moment, but that just lets you know there individuals and have minds and personalitys of there own, enjoy what you get from them, they do appreciate what they get from you even though sometimes you dont notice it.

But that is what is so great about cats! I have been brought up with cats and dogs, and I much prefer cats - I love their moodiness and their unwillingness to learn anything. Just let them be. They will still give you years of pleasure and enjoyment. Dogs can be great, but they are also generally so SERVILE. You never find that in a cat!

Cats already know everything they need to know, like how silly some people are, expecting cats to be trainable.

If you want an animal you can train get a dog.

Cats never take notice of anyone unless they want something like food. Cats are not good subject to teach tricks to :-)

Normal. Cats see humans as just a source of food, scratches and warmth- a necessary evil.

Welcome to the world of cats. They just aren't like dogs, and usually don't go for training of any kind. We think we're training them to a litter box, but it's what they prefer. Either you like their independence or you don't. Incidentally, have you noticed that if you displease them, they'll find a way to displease you? That's where we get the term "catty behavior" from. Enjoy!

What are you trying to teach them?

Not all cats like learning pointless tricks to please their humans, just like not all people like to walk the rope for the circus.

Some cats have very indipendent minds and want you to like them for what they are, not because of what you can get out of them.

That's way some people don't like cats, because cats don't want to be controlled, made to do things.

they don't sound moody to me, they sound just perfect. But... if they are moody it's probably because you are disrespecting them!! Cat's are very independent generally and do whatever suits them, whenever it suits them. Don't keep pushing them to learn things for your entertainment... it'll just make them moody. And with three of them... ooh you don't want them to conspire against you!! Get some books on cats and learn to enjoy them as they are.

That's cats for you. They have their own minds and they'll only respond if they want to.

sounds like normal cats.

Dogs are so stupid they will try to do any dumb thing a human comes up with.

Cats will look at you and you can see in their eyes that they think you are insane for asking them to even think of performing the trick.
