Have you ever heard it said that a person who dreams they died will actually die then and there?
I heard this before and wondered if there was anything to it. I have dreamed that I almost died or that I was in a place that I could have died but I always 100% of the time wake up before I actually died.............has anyone dreamed they died and are still here to tell it? Told you it was a silly question

i've dreamed that i died.
when i woke up from the dream, it took me a good 5 mintues to come out of it and realize that i was still alive. apparently i had stopped breathing and i woke up because my husband was screaming at me.
that's actually how we discovered that i have sleep apnia (i can't spell it)

I use to have those dreams where you dream you are falling off a cliff, but wake up before you hit the bottom. Other than that, no, I never had a dream that I actually died.

I have died numerous times in my dreams. I always wake up afterwards, but most of time this happens, I have an out of body dream experience. It doesn't really mean anything. Once, I dreamed I was Jason Voorhies from the Friday the 13th series. People kept killing me, and I kept on getting back up and started hacking and slashing again. It was strange but funny.
