Try this diocese directory:

After that, you'll need to contact the individual parish churches.

Of course, Crockford's has records of baptisms as well, although most researchers think of it as a clerical directory:

Where abouts in England, I have found some but they are on a library based website, that covers mainly Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire, sorry I cant help any more than that.
