Im not sure if age really matters with this, but let me set up a scenario.

Someone disrepected you, your woman or your mother, etc. Words are going back and forth, your're in each others faces. The one who is being disrepectful throws a punch and you 2 go at it. Fists flying, knocking into walls, furniture..blah blah. I'm sure you get the picture.

The fight ends, you come out unscratched, the other is bloody. So it's obvious you beat the crap out of this dude. But no, it doesnt end there. The other starts running his mouth about how he beat you down, acting like the big man. So of course, your in front of all your buddies and can't have this jerk (Im being nice here..haha) show you down, so you go another round..again, comming out ontop.

I know some boys/men have this HUGE ego thing going on, so Im really curious.

At some point self defense becomes assault. I would say after the guy through the punch it was self defense but if you already came out on top and he's running his mouth, you need to walk away because at that point he isn't physically hurting you so anything you do to him is assault.

Walk away. Don't fight in front of others/friends (witnesses).

If he starts talking big again, just say "He's brain damaged after the fight".

You could end up in big time trouble if he breaks something or even worse, if he dies. A friend once got into a fight with a bezerk who suddenlty tipped over and died. He was in remand prison for sometime before the doctors declared that the chap who died had a clot in the brain and had died because the artery had burst and not because of the fight.

I would walk away. I am too old for that kind of ********.
Also, have you been in many fights? It messes up your hands even if you win. I mean your hands REALLY hurt afterwards, for days, always. At least mine did when I used to get into that kind of stupid stuff. I learned my lesson though. I got in a fight with somebody once and then I found out later that he had a heart condition and could have died. I never got in a fight again after that and I never will.

Well just by looking at him, people can tell you worked him.
Theres no need to fight again, until he starts **** again. In that case, beat the **** outa him.

Try not to start fights, but if they start it, you shouldnt back down, unless your extremely outnumbered.

If you dont stand up for yourself, you'll always get pushed around.

Generally im a nice guy to everyone, funny, dont have any enemies. But I've been in my fair share of fights.

I would walk away after I beat his *** the first time. I'd be afraid that I might kill him and you can go to prison for that. The fact that he was acting like he didn't get his *** beat would just be funny.

I would trust my friends to notice that I'm not the one with a black eye and broken nose... but he is.

If anyone would ask about it, I'd laugh and say "Hey, he lost so bad he's had to start lying about it..."

But I'm girl. Don't know if this counts.
