I have a littermaid, because they don't cover their poop, not because I'm lazy. The little one has some explosive diarrea going on and its getting caught in the rakes, the litter I used last is, well, crap. How well do the chrystl kinds work?

I have six cats and two littermaids. The first littermaid I have is 4 years old and still kicking I think partly because the litter I have chosen to use. I use Arm & Hammer in the littermaids because the other brands like Fresh Step say something about hard clumping. Also with the littermaid it says do not use anything with Crystals.

The best clumping litter I've used is Tidy Cats Small Spaces. But I quit using that and opted for the Tidy Cats Crystals. They're WONDERFUL. Bar none the best for odor control. But remember the crystals don't clump, so I don't know if that kind of litter is even OK to use in the automatic litter boxes. There *is* Tidy Cats Crystals Blend, however. It's the clumping litter mixed with crystals.

I absolutely love the crystals, but since you can't use that with your littermaid.... the next best thing is Tidy Cats Multiple or small spaces. Great stuff. Not only do I like it but my kitties do too.

You CANT use crystal clumping litter with a littermaid! It will break. You need a premium clumping little (little pieces so large crystals) Any brand is fine.

Fresh Step is the best brand I have found. We have four cats in a two bedroom mobile home and NO litter box odor. When people come over they don't even know we have cats! Also with Fresh Step you can earn "paw points" good towards various pet products.

I actually like pets pride better then tidy cat (tried both tidy cat multiple cats in one litter box, pets pride in the other) I found with multiple cats using each litter box and me scooping each one out a couple times a day that the pets pride I never seemed to smell while the tidy cat stunk.

i exploit "the breeze". it incredibly is a green clutter field with plastic pellets as clutter. The cat pees on it and it does not soak into the pellets. It is going for the period of the vented backside onto a pad below. as quickly as you have offered the particular clutter field ($30) then you definately purely would desire to interchange the pads 1X each week for one cat, and the pellets approximately each 5 months. So incredibly once you purchase the field you're staring at approximately $5 a month for the pads. I even have 4 cats and prefer it. that is incredibly person-friendly to scrub.

It's definitely Scoop-away, the clumpable kind not the gravel- because it turns to clay. Here's the best tip for cats that don't always get the urine in the litter box. I bought one of those Rubbermaid sweater plastic containers that is really deep, the pee stays in it every time!
