Going on the assumption a person is not allergic. What are the odds that a fairly healthy, 22 year old male; 5'10" 190lbs, would risk a heart attack etc or "instant death" by taking a 30 mg adderall xr for the 1st time.

Based on existing literatures, the person you describe above would be fine taking 30 mg Adderall, provided he has no any pre-existing cardiac or mental illnesses or history of drug abuse. In between 1999 to 2003, there have been reported 12 sudden death in American children caused by Adderall. It turned out however that 5 had pre-existing cardiac illness, 2 had overdose and one died after strenuous exercise in 110 degree heat. The FDA could find no increased risk of sudden death among Adderall users beyond the normal rate of the general population. Though it is expected that the above-mentioned person would be fine, who knows how he would react to it on the first time usage, that is why there is always a "risk" attached.

as long as the said person has a good, clean medical history,is not at risk for high blood pressure, and has no heart abnormalities or history..

there is a very low risk of any complications..

this person should be fine if the above is correct.

it's a stimulant so as long as you dont have any cardiovascular problems, you'll be fine. The only side effect you'll really have to worry about it the amount of time you spend posting on this website when your wired all night. haha

Good luck, be safe, and know your limits.
