"Lola, ¿cómo lo quieres?" means "Lola, how do you want it?"
And "Lola, ¿cómo lo querés?" it's argentinian spanish. It means the same.

(It's that from a movie?)

"Lola, Como lo quieres?" is "Lola, How do you want it?" (literally). But I´d better say ; "Lola, How would you like it?" or "How do you prefer it".

In Spain ís not correct to say "Como lo queres?" It doesn´t have any sense for us.

I'm assuming Lola is a name, and ¿como lo quieres? means how do you want it? or what do you want? in Castillian Spanish (spoken throughout Spain)

lola ¿como lo queres? is South American Spanish, also meaning how do you want it? or what do you want? but in Latin American Spanish.

Latin American Spanish and Castillian Spanish are just two different dialects, so by learning one, you would easily be able to speak the other. If you are learning, you are probably learning Castillian Spanish, which will make a transferral to Latin American Spanish extremely easy.

Sorry my Spanish is pretty rusty, but I hope I've jhelped. Good luck with what you need!

Yeah, they sound the same to me. It's gotta do that they're from different "registers" (as we call it here) it's because of geography matters. The verb written in the second phrase would be they way we speak in Argentina, but not in the rest of Latin America (1st choice). Literal translation is "Lola, how do you want it?

ak,

it means the exact same thing.
the difference is in the verb.
quieres is a more formal, friendly you-tu.
the second is an even more friendly form of tu-VOS,
they do not teach you that at school because it's possible
that your teacher does not know it herself.
trust me
