There is a product you can get at any pharmacy or Wal-mart even, called Colgate Peroxyl. It's made for mouth sores. In a bottle that looks like mouthwash. You swish it around in your mouth for 30 sec. It really helps. Really great for those times when you bite into something hot and burn the roof of your mouth too!

Yes , the Best thing is to rinse /gargle with salt and WARM water - not hot*...also peroxide...put mouth over sink, stick tongue out and pour over tongue. He's probably burnt it on something he ate recently- pizza? lasagna? spagetti? something very hot*~

What kind of sore?
If it's a little white bump, rinsing with Listerine will work better. He should also pour Listerine on his toothbrush and brush the sore gently.

If it's a bigger, brown or reddish colored sore, see a doctor.
