Wow, I have stumbled upon a thread of idiots!
Questioner - you're wrong, because it's a sin to boast and brag and you know it. Nowhere is there fact that Islam is "100 times better" than anything else. You are a sinner.
Answerers - Where'd you learn to be such bigots, Fox News? I've never heard so many misconceptions about Islam - especially the guy who quoted the George Sales translation of the Qur'an - I speak better Arabic than George Sales did!
You all are a bunch of idiots. Islam can be wonderful, so can all of the other religions. Why do you all insist on trying to one-up each other?

Wow, (to the ignorant people who responded) thanks a lot for all of your OPINIONS and not FACTS.
First let me respond to the remarks made by others. I would like to say sure there are bad muslim's just like bad christian's, bad jew's, bad buddhist's, bad hindu's, etc. But the bad ones are the ones that are called EXREMISTS and are the ones that put a taint in the name of Islam by calling themselves "muslims". Those are the ones that bomb places and people, act through violence "in the name of Allah", and commit many more sins on purpose with no valid excuse.
Now to your question brother, I would like to say it is a matter of opinion if you are asking what religion is better than the other. You have to find your basic everyday beliefs that match religious beliefs. Not everyone is willing to cover themself completely so no one else can look at them, not everyone is willing to pray 5 times a day, not everyone is willing to avoid certain things to eat or behave like, not everyone is willing to give up there freedom of doing whatever they want (whenever they want), etc. I hope you get what I'm trying to say.
If you ask me what are those 100 things that I believe make Islam the best religion I will continue this response (make it longer than it already is) and give you more than 100 because I was born and raised as a Muslimah.

No sex before marriage which means no STDS or AIDS or unwanted pregnancies.
The Qur'an has never been altered or changed and can and never will be changed or altered.
Islam is the religion of ALLAH(SWT) because ALLAH(SWT) says in the Qur'an that ALLAH(SWT) chose Islam for all mankind.
Muslims don't eat pork which has tons of diseases which can make a person really sick even if it is cooked properly.
No gambling, racism, durgs, smoking, alcohol, masturabtion, music, singing, dancing, homosexuality, or other bad acts.
No girls getting pregnant out of wedlock.
Women have lots of rights in Islam.
Hajj to Mecca.
Muslims being very devout by praying 5 times a day to ALLAH(SWT).
Fasting during Ramadan during daylight hours to remember the good fortune ALLAH(SWT) has given us and letting us remember the poor people who can't get anything to eat.
Giving Zakat(2.5% of our yearly wealth) to the poor people.
Arabic being the universal language and unchangable.
Parents being taken care of by their children when the parents reach old age.

Absolutely nothing, all religions believe in crazy mythology and Islam is no exception. The only difference is that they are still one of those religions whose followers may try to murder you for questioning their total insanity.
Oh, they also are told to kill those who break off from Islam - from right out of the Koran too. There are also around six pages worth of text from the Koran commanding all Muslims to hate the non-believers. Several times through the Koran Muslims are commanded to kill those who mock the religion, how nice!
This isn't "Islamophobia" I just see their fundamentalists as the threat to world peace that they are.
I'm not saying that any religion is much better (Christians - Read Deuteronomy) , but Islam is still one of the worse by far.

God made Islam the true and complete religion:
The Qur'an 5:3, {. . . Today I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My favor upon you, and have approved for you Islam as religion. . .}
3.9. The only religion in the sight of God is Islam.
The Quran says: ‘Say (O, Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.’(Quran 3:31)

Absolutely nothing. The truth is that Islam demands that Jews and Christians be murdered. Furthermore, under islam, woman have absolutely no rights whatsoever. Let us not forget that a "good" moslem must pray daily towards and make one pilgrimage in their life to mecca. I have often wondered what would happen if a meteor fell on that city?
One or two other things, the koran teaches that the earth is flat (prove that to somebody that has circum-navigated the planet) and that it is alright to marry a six year old child. Worse is that islam is primarily spread through the use of the sword, name a scimatar or a rifle (you don't want to find yourself looking down the barrel of an AK-47, it isn't pleasant).

islam has a reason for everything. everything we beleive in has a logical and mathmatical explanation. islam is the last religion out of three monotheistic religion known to humans. islams book has never changed and is still in arabic to this day. Allah(s.w) wrote the quran. islam treats every human equal. it is against our religion to hurt anyone including animals, whether we eat it or not. i could go on but u know what i mean.
and despite of the media and everything negetive aimed toward us, we are the fastest growing religion in the world

Islam does not allow freedom of thought or choice. You cannot choose to leave Islam in an Islamic country.
You have to choose to be 100 times better.

How did you come up with 100 times? Gee, I can only think of 99 myself. The one missing I guess is Jihad. The others don't have a name for the blood they spill in the name of the almighty.

Who says it is? Any religion that teaches love and understanding can be a good religion. Any religion that teaches hate and intolerance is incapable of being a good religion and you can be sure that it has moved far away from any holy origins that it might have had.
