So, my question wasn't exactly answered. ^^
Yes, I know my hormones are raging and bla bla bla.
I've made up my mind, I've known this boy for quite a while and I've got it all covered.

Now some help: HOW DO I TELL MY PARENTS?!

Just be honest with them. I mean your dad seems cool so just be straight with him. I mean the worst thing that they can say is no and if that does happen there ain't much you can do about it. And this boy seems really sincere and like he has class if he is insisting on meeting your folks and maybe your parents will see that in him and givr him a chance. I would just tell them about my feelings and tell them that he is a really sweet guy and maybe even invite him over I am pretty sure your parents won't be rude in front of his face. Good Luck

lol ur moms prude haha, anyway i wouldnt approve of the age difference, but since he said he wants to meet your parents frst and get their approval, well thats pretty mature so i can understand if you guys went out. you can try hiding the relationship, they might find out or they might not, but the sneaking around will be a pain so i suggest you just tell them. i would tell your dad first and let him know that hes been a great father n stuff, n if you get your fathers approval, then just tell your mother. ask your father, be like, what do you think of a 9th grader going out with a 12th grader and see what he says. if its more leaning twoards an ok then i will tell him but if its leanng twoards a no, then you need to use your judgement whether to tell him or not. good luck

Be direct. If they realize that you really care for each other and you get along well, then they should be happy for you. In this day and age it is to hard to find a good guy to worry about the age difference.

Being a parent, I would want my daughter to come to me and be honest. Lying or sneaking around always got her into more trouble. Sit them down, tell them you met someone and would like to be able to date him. Explain he wants to meet them and get their approval (parents would like that). Just be honest, polite and listen to what they say. Their divorce shouldn't be a punishment for you. Honesty is the best policy no matter what. Good luck to you.

If he's for you...dont' let anyone stand in your way. Anticipate the worst case scenario and how you'll handle it...if it goes better...then Amen!

Good luck!

Tell them you need a prescription for "the pill". They'll figure it all out.
