Well I'm wondering if barbers can shave moustaches? I am asking this because my father won't let me shave. Although it's a thin moustache, I think it doesn't look good on me.

Barbers can shave whatever you ask them to shave.

Since HIV and Hepatitis C have became a problem, you will have a difficult time finding a barber that will do shaves.

If it a very light mustache you may consider getting some hair removing product. Just make sure you don't ingest it. I know it may sound strange, but the bikini line hair remover is a product that will be safer for the skin on the face--may be a little embarrassing to purchase, but hell you are a young man-you know who you are so forget what other people may think.

How old are you Chris? This might have something to do with your Dad's opinion.

In my case, my peach fuzz came in black and thick. I started shaving at the age of 12. For the first couple of years, I only shaved every couple of months. Eventually I grew a beard and didn't bother with shaving.

In your case, try reasoning with your Dad, and if that fails, buy a cheap disposable razor and take care of business.

Does your father feel you're not old enough? Can you not reason with him? I think however old you are, you are wise enough to know what doesn't look good on you and should have some say in it. (I could see if he wouldn't let you dye your hair green or get a mohawk, but no shave when you need to...) Good luck. (and you'll be shaving for many years anyway).

Go get a razor and shave it off. If your father notices it's missing just tell him, "SEE, I told you it needed to be shaved!!"

Don't cut yourself with the razor, though. Your father would bust a guy laughing.
