Depends on why you don't believe in God.

If you think there is no such thing as any Gods, then what is faith or belief anyway?

If you think that God has deserted you in your time of need, you believe, just are lacking faith.

If you think there just isn't the God I am talking about then yes it takes faith b/c you have faith and believe that there is an answer other than God.

God Bless

No. It never takes faith not to believe in something. There's an infinity of things that YOU do NOT believe in. If it took even the slightest faith not to believe in something, then everybody would have infinite faith, and that's obviously not true. If it requires no faith on your part not to believe in elves and fairies, then it takes no faith on anyone else's part not to believe in gods.

it takes faith, to get out of bed every morning...
it takes faith to have any belief at all...and even having no opinion... is in and of itself an opinion
making no decision... is a decision
so choosing to NOT believe... is a belief

No. A lack of belief is merely a lack of faith. The very idea of "belief" requires faith because faith is belief without tangible proof.

I don't think so. Does it take faith to not believe that there is a monster sitting on everyone's head? Nah

No. 'Faith' is simply not using your brain to assess the validity of claims made by ancient texts and dubious prophets, and just accept the proposition.

To arrive at 'not believing in any deity' requires one to USE THE BRAIN and consider the obvious.

What is faith?

One man's "faith" is another man's "superstition".

God created man to be NOT some stupid blind sheep.

God created man to be intelligent, to USE his intelligence, his senses, his ability to reason and measure and think for himself - never to rely on some "gut feeling" because that could be gall stones.

If one takes the time to see into creation, to study logic, math, music, science with an uncorrupted intent, then one absolutely WILL see the greater purpose of CREATION at the hands of the supreme author of the universe.

The words of the supreme author speak DAILY. It is only people who are too lazy, dumb, blind to open their mind/eyes to it!

Science is merely a study of God's creation and how God created things, what God's ideas and rules are and what God wants us to do for each other.

It's really just that simple.

No. This is because faith is the belief in things which are not seen, but which are true. God is true, and to not believe in him would be false, hence no faith would be involved.

Absolutely. It doesn't matter what the atheists claim - their belief that there is no God IS a belief. For it to be "knowledge," it would have to be proven by science. Science has not proven that there is no deity; therefore, a person doesn't "not believe in God." They "believe there is no God."

In my experience, faith has only resulted in the opposite.
