His does not tell us to obey...He asks us to obey. That is why we need to have the freedom to choose.

If you obey the Holy Spirit which is that little voice in your heart Than that makes you free. And it also saves you a whole lot of trouble and extra work of running around accomplishing nothing for you and for God,There is your freedom.Because God knows the future and He saves you from extra unnecessary suffering if you obey.My grandma said almost a hundred years ago your choice is if you do not listen you have to suffer

He gave us the will to choose between write in wrong, and the will to obey him, if we didnt have choices then god wouldn't be able to throw us in hell for no reason, lol, or heaven for that matter...so while your living try and do the right thing, no matter how hard it is, because one day you'll need all those small good deeds.

God set us free through His son Jesus . To be free doesn't mean to do what you want to, it means to be able to serve Him and be free to do so, without any man telling you what to do. God always wants your best, so when you obey Him , your life is full of joy and peace. If you chose your way, then you are free to receive the consequences.

You recommend like Jonah had? Oh wait he did not prefer to bypass to nineveh which replaced into his own loose will marvelous? nicely GOD did not like that answer so he had a whale bypass eat him, so there is loose will for you. basically bear in mind that this entire international and its advent is GODs interest and we are only expendable little toys so in case you do not play the sport poof your long gone, weren't in the slightest degree substantial to GOD or all people else for that count, Isaiah 40 5:7 (New international version) I form the sunshine and create darkness, I carry prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do those form of issues.

He tells us to CHOOSE to obey him. There is right and wrong and there are consequences for our choices. If we choose to disobey, even though we have the right to do so, then we are wrong and will suffer the consequences. This gives meaning to the right path. If there is only one path then it isn't right, it just "is". Just as life and time would be meaningless if there were no death.

It's not a command, but an option. He wants us to choose to obey Him.

I think that God sends "situations" our way, but we have the free will to choose how we are going to react, sinfully or not, humanitarian or not...that kind of thing. Like tests. But they are more than that...they're learning experiences that can help us choose to become better people...or not.

So we would have the choose to worship Him or not. If He just made us worship Him it would not be true worship. If it is a chose to worship Him and we worship Him on our own free will, this is true worship. If we were just made to worship Him without free will we would be no better then robots.
