She is 10 years old. She will follow me from room to room finding a place to sleep. I tried to get to excercise but when we do she will not exceed more than walking. I know it is not because of her age, yesterday we went to Petsmart for a vaccination and she acted like apuppy, so I know she has the energy. Now, she is going into my closet, acting very aloof, she never used to act this way. Help!!??

It could be the shot. If she doesn't start getting better soon, you should take her to the vet.

Maybe she's depressed, has anything "changed" in her environment lately, are you doing anything different like a new routine?
Animals have feelings maybe she's in need of some more attention for awhile.
or
Maybe she isn't feeling well > take her to the vet
if everything checks out OK,
then try spending sometime down on the floor with her
Talk sweet to her
and give her some real attention.
Try a healing touch massage on her the next time you have time..like tonight while you watch TV.

Heres how:

Good Luck I hope Luna feels better soon.
PS - I had a favorite Cat named Luna :)

Hi,
I just don't understand when people ask this kind of questions from public. dear your dog can be very sick and need immediate vet care. call a vet when ever there is a change in your pets behavior talk to a vet don't waist time.

its like doggie altimeters disease I bet It can get real sad so take him to the vet and have him checked out. My dad didn't and made my poor dog suffer. She wound up in a neighbors pond walking in circles! I was so mad at him. I moved out already and did not know this until after the fact!!!!!

Check how she is, my dogs were also strange after their shots - if she is still like this after another day, take her to the vet.

at ten, yes it is her age, especially if she is a large dog. she may have arthritis & be hurting.

perhaps her sight or hearing are starting to fail & that is causing her insecurities.
