it starts up just fine and i dont have any viruses so what can be the problem?

also its not over heating

sometimes it may go into standby then when it comes back on it automatically shuts down.

I know for sure that its not overheating

I had this same problem and I tried everything I could think of then after days of looking for the cause I found a add on card that was loose in it's socket, I removed it cleaned the contacts and replaced it and made sure it was seated correctly and I haven't had the problem since. So check all your cards and their connections. it might be your problem as well.

It is the HOT season. It could be overheating due to poor case ventilation. Try running it w/ case open and an electric fan pointed towards the motherboard. If it still shuts down, you might have a problem with the memory or the power supply.

maybe your processor overheats. who knows. feel the case and see if its too hot.
