Internet BFs/GFs can be a good thing. Just try not to look for one on a popular site like myspace. I had an GF over internet for a while and things went great between us (Well, until she moved and didn't have internet for about a year, by then she had gotten a real BF lol.) If you end up getting one, best of luck to you.

I'm not going to say absolutely not, but understand that the person who you're communicating with can be very different than what he claims to be, including much older. Under no circumstances should you meet with this person in private. If you really want to meet him, it should be in a public place, with your parents. If he says anything inappropriate over the internet, immediately stop and report it to your parents.

My friend does but if you do have a BF/GF its easier to cheat (no I am not saying you should cheat on them) that is exactly what happened to her. She also discovered that he wasn't what she thought he was. So I am not so sure but thats what I have seen.
