Yes, there is a book that will help you to save you cat's life...it is called the phone book. Call the vet now. Once the cat is well you can check your local library or the Internet for information on cat health care and home remedies.

There may be such a book, but in the time it takes for you to find that book, and then find the remedy in the book, your cat could get sicker.

If you care about the cat, and it's been sick for more than one day, you should take it to a veterinarian. Getting proper treatment could save its life, and it may cost you money. A good vet will tell you what the problem is and how much treatment will cost. If you and the cat are lucky it's not a serious problem. A vet should know after an examination.

(Vets are doctors who have studied the health of animals. Animals have some different needs than humans.)

I am not sure about the book but if it is life threatning your cat will need to see the vet. If you can't afford to see the vet right now you should at least call the vet for advice. If the vet says it is important that you bring the cat in you should somehow start saving as much as possible for the visit and also if your cat needs extra treatment. Pet operations can be expensive.

If your cat is sick you should take her to a vet at once.

The vet will be able to figure out what is making her sick and can tell you whether she needs prescription medication or if you can give her something non-prescription.

Do not try giving your cat any human medications as many of them can be fatal to felines.

SINCE YOU CAN'T DO THE TESTING TO KNOW WHATS REALLY WRONG, YOU COULDN'T PICK SOMETHING OUT OF A BOOK AND KNOW IF IT WAS THE RIGHT TREATMENT.

IF AT ALL POSSIBLE...........DO TAKE HER TO THE VET. YOU MIGHT ASK THEM FOR AN APPROXIMATE AMOUNT IF MONEY IS A PROBLEM. SOME ARE OPEN AT NIGHT AND WEEKENDS.........DEPENDS WHERE YOU LIVE.

ALSO, YOU MAY KNOW OF SOME OF THE PET FOODS THAT WERE CAUSING LIVER FAILURE IN ANIMALS RECENTLY. YOU NEED TO DISCUSS EVERYTHING WITH THE VET.............AGE, SYMPTOMS.

BEST WISHES. I'VE HAD CATS AND CARED VERY VERY MUCH ABOUT THEM!
