no, not at all. covering the skin will only make the chicken soggy anyway.

But I like to cover it the first 2/3 of the time, so it cooks, then uncover for the last 1/3 of time so it browns adn the skin gets crispy.

You don't have to cover it, but I like to cover it for 2/3 of the cooking time so that it is juicy.

You don't have to, but I have found that it keeps the chicken more moist. No one likes dry chicken.

no you have to cover chicken up it is best to cook it uncovered
