Wage levies are fairly easy to get released under certain circumstances. IF all returns are filed and IF you owe under $25,000 and IF you can set up a payment agreement to pay off the taxes within 5 years, the IRS will generally release the levy right away. If not, you'll need to hire a good tax professional (Enrolled Agent, CPA or attorney), not one of the firms that advertises on TV to negotiate for you.

Pay what you owe.

If you have reached the point of garnishment you obviously have ignored some notices you received.

Pay your tax debt and the garnishing will stop. Obviously, you haven't learned your lesson since you STILL don't want to pay them.
