Typically from the time you start until your package is completed and sent to the board it usually takes ~6 months. Getting "processed" usually doesn't take too long.

It can vary in how long it takes you to get accepted. Boards meet roughly monthly I believe. If you don't get pro-rec'd at a board then you will roll over to the next board. If you don't get accepted again then you will have to resubmit your application. Once you get pro-rec'd the process is not over..you still must go to MEPS (MEPS is usually the longest holdup) and then it is another 2-6 weeks (depends on the community you are applying to) before you are a FINAL SELECT (If they like what they see).

All of these times are just approximate.

are you coming in straight from civilian side, or are you currently enlisted? different time lines for each.

are you comptetive for a slot? is your degree technical, do you have at least a3.5 GPA? what other things do you bring to the table? not everyone who applies is accepted.
Took my husband 4 years and two attempts before he got accepted to OCS, and he was enlisted at the time.

The best person to ask are the people that are handling your OCS packet.

Are you talking about coming on-board as an officer from civilian life or changing from enlisted sailor to officer?
