I am pretty fluent in spanish, strictly speaking. But I don't hear enough conversations to know what people REALLY say, outside of the textbooks and movies and stories I've read. I'd like some things to say to my son (3 months old) in Spanish. Please no babelfish/etc. translations - that's not what i'm looking for. I want genuine examples! (e.g., a mom saying, Oh, !que linda nene! Things like that)

"Que cosita más bonita!!" (what a little beauty thing)
"My small little baby" (Mi bebecito)
"Cosita linda" (pretty little thing)
"Mi gatita/gatito" (my pussy cat)
"Mi pequeño corazoncito" (My small little heart)
"Eres el bebe más bonito del mundo entero" (you´re the beautiful baby from all over the world)

Happy baby girl would be ninita bebe feliz....and you can also say things like Dios Bendiga a esta preciosa bebe linda which means God Bless this precious baby girl ....umm also can say I Love this baby girl which is Amo a esta bebe! Hope that helps

I'm from Argentina. You can say to your baby any sweet word that comes to your mind, it'll always sound nice, in any language.
And please, say "hola, precioso" to your son for me.
Those are something that I say to my nephew.
