Orajel cream. You apply it to the tooth thats causing you pain and it will numb it for a while, but if the pain continues and it doesn't stop, you might want to see a dentist.

GOD Ive been through that, and I dont wish tooth pain on anynone! However, there are many things to try, since (Im assuming) you are unable to get it filled or yanked- My fiance has a mouth FULL of broken teeth, and is a.l.w.a.y.s in pain as well... Try Kanka(supposed to be for mouth sores, but works better on tooth pain) which is like anbesol, but better... also try to get what's called Clove Oil (available at GNC) that works wonders as well. When I had a bad tooth, I (besides cry non-stop) would put a heating pad or a heat patch on my jaw for a couple hours. But alot of things need to be looked at when dealing with tooth pain, i.e, is it a molar, and what condition is the tooth in right now.. does it have a an abcess? Because if the pain is just beginning you MIGHT be able to rinse it(if there is just a small hole inside the tooth) and apply a dental filler, but that isnt strongly suggested because you might not get all the bacteria out, and the filler might trap it in and that hurts 10 times worse! Though I got sick and tired of hearing "go to the dentist!" That , unfortunately would and should be anyones best advise.... just make sure you watch for those nasty abcesses, because they can be deadly......Try to hang in there.....good luck to you.

I had a toothache a couple of months ago and I was taking Aleeve, but one of my good friends told me that he takes 3 Advil, so I tried it and BAM!! Toothache was gone in an instant! Of course, I had to take 3 Advil twice a day for a couple of days, but it really helped with the pain. And then, obviously, you'll want to get to the dentist ASAP ;)

I hope you feel better...toothaches and earaches are the worst kind of pain!!

Clove oil will help. Also Motrin or Tylenol. Clove oil is also not to expensive. You might be able to find it on the shelves of a store, but sometimes the pharmacy has it behind the counter. You just have to ask for it.

Tylenol works, but the solution is to see a dentist. You may also have an infection which needs the attention of anti-biotics. Hydrocordone works very well but can only be prescribed by a dentist. Sounds like an absessed tooth. My heart goes out to you, I have gone through it too.

Ground cloves works wonders. wet a q-tip and dab it in the clove and apply to the tooth. It taste nasty but does numb it. Also .... if you have one of those headache packs ( the ones u can buy from a herbal sorce, heat it in the microwave and place it on the outside cheek. If you dont get a tube sock and put raw rice ( not cooked) and dehydrated corn in it and tie the top....works just as well. Good luck
