WHAT??????????????????????????????????
Where have you been? GOD writes to us everyday that the sun comes up, HE is saying "Good morning child". GOD writes to us every time we go out driving in traffic or walking and we are able to return home. HE is saying to us "I will keep you safe".

I could go on and on............ but I wonder if I did if you would even see what I was saying as something GOD is saying?

Do you enjoy the sunrises, the sunsets, the flowers, the scenery of a mountain painted in Autumn leaves changing color, the laughter of a child playing, the birds singing? What about the gift of a butterfly? Do you think these things just happen? NOT!! They are all a gift from GOD.

Maybe if you would learn to put a capital 'G' instead of a small 'g' it would show more respect to the Creator of the universe and HE would talk to you a little more.

I know now, you are just trying to get me riled up arent you? Well, it did. I remembered to thank GOD for all HE did for me today. Thanks for the question.

I believe that he does,we just are not opening the mail.

There is another world available to all who will to see,I know,as I came out of the other camp....I wish there were a way that I could make this real for people to understand...My intellect is fruitless in sharing if no one will hear. God is not afar off and is not hiding....one who seeks him whole heartedly will be found......I am not stupid nor have I been chasing my tail in some pseudo pursuit of a fairy tale...I have experienced and seen the power of God.

I think that presentation was overkill and way over the edge serious.

God continues to speak to us through prophets just as he did over 2000 years ago. Perhaps you haven't been looking in the right place.

Qur’an

"THERE IS PROBABLY IN THE WORLD NO OTHER BOOK WHICH HAS REMAINED TWELVE CENTURIES (now fourteen) WITH SO PURE A TEXT." — (Sir William Muir)The

Arabic world "Al-Qur'an" literally means "the recitation". When used in regards to Islam, the word Qur'an means God's final message to mankind that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The Qu'ran, sometimes spelled Koran, is the literal the word of God - as it clearly says time and time again. Unlike other sacred scriptures, the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved in both its words and meaning in a living language.

The Qu'ran is a living miracle in the Arabic language; and is known to be inimitable in its style, form and spiritual impact. God's final revelation to mankind, the Qur'an, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years.
" When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy. " Qur'an 7:204
'The revelation of THIS BOOK is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdon.' Qur'an 39:1
'And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And THIS BOOK confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.' Qur'an 46:12
'Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.' Qur'an 2:185

You are mistaken. God still talks to us. Many writers are inspired by God but they do not write their message as an addition to the Bible. There are a lot of books out there, people are telling how God has been working in their life. Those stories are not the part of the Bible, but they are worth of reading as testimonials of the living God.

Well, that's just what most people think. I believe in modern revelation and an open canon of scripture.
Check out the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and other revealed writings available from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You will find hundreds of pages of things that God has written to us since the Bible. And I truly believe all of it to be true and of God.
God wasn't upset with us, he was just waiting until we were prepared to receive more. Many people still aren't...

God does write to us. However, some people find it so incredible that God would still want to communicate with us they simply choose not to believe that it's still happening.

2007-06-09 17:35:26 · answer #10 · answered by Rynok 7 · 1 0

God never wrote to us in the first place.

If you are asking if God still communicates, the answer is yes. But God is very polite and does not speak when we are busy asking for all sorts of inconsequential things. In the silence and stillness, God still speaks.
