You don't have many options from what I understand. If you can't find another home for the dog and you don't want to put him to sleep, then the only other choice left is finding a place to live that will accept the dog. Start looking now for another place, maybe a friend could temporarily take the dog until you find a new place.

Is this a new apartment that you just moved in to? Check your lease. I don't think they can make you get rid of him if you signed a lease where pets are accepted. They can not just change their minds.

If it's new owners, they have to honor the previous lease. I have encountered many places where it says that pets are not accepted, yet I see people with pets. When I asked about it, they said that those people had their pets before it became a "no pets" apartment building.

You may have to contact an attorney to get all of the details.

Try to find an apartment where you are allowed to have larger dogs. Also did you lease the apartment with consent of having the dog there? If so I dont' think the landlords can make you get ride of him unless he has damaged property or harmed another person because you have him on the lease. Good luck

First it's time to start looking for a new place. Do a search on the internet for rotti rescue or chow rescue. Talk to someone at one of those organizations and explain your situation. You may be able to find someone who is willing to foster the dog until you get a new place.

most apts have rules about dogs. most don't allow over 25#'s some have several breeds they don't allow.

You should have checked the rules before you moved there.

having him put down is probably your only option since you have already determined there is no one to take him.

you are 20 years old with a baby on the way, you have other serious problems to deal with as well
