What are proper things to feed her right now?
I know cow's milk is bad for her.
She looks to be about 4 to 5 weeks old.
She does eat from a syringe, but won't eat from a dish.

Any home remedy suggestions?

SHE SHOULD HAVE KITTEN REPLACEMENT MILK OR GOATS MILK.
FEED HER BY SYRINGE TONIGHT BEFORE BED TEHN LET HER GO ALLNIGHT WITH NO FEEDING.FIRST THING IN TEH MORNING GIVE HER KITTEN CHOW( HARD FOOD) MOISTENED WITH TEH FORMULA.TO A SOUPLIKE CONSISTENCY.
EVERY OTHER DAY MAKE IT SLIGHTLY THICKER.
FIRST PUT HER LITTLE MOUTH IN TEH FOOD AND SEE IF SHE WILL BEGIN TO LIK IT IF NOT TRY TO PUT A LITTLE IN HER MOUTH.
TRY TO GET HER TO THE VETS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE SHE IS HEALTHY AND GET A STOOL SAMPLE DONE.

If she is 1# 13 ounces she is probably closer to 7-8 weeks old. Typically at 8 weeks old the kittens are right around 2 pounds. At this time she should be weaned. Try putting some canned food on a flat plate and taking a tiny bit of it and putting it in her mouth then put her nose to the food. Typically with this they will start to eat.

Good luck with her. Fostering kittens is wonderful. I have 2 right now that I am fostering.

Kittens typically start to ween between 4 and 6 weeks, so if she's as old as you say then you would benefit from trying to ween her in the next week or so. Try alternating between kitten formula (can get at any pet store), and canned kitten food (not chunky, go for pate). Maybe mix a little of the pate with some formula in a syringe to get her used to it and slowly ween her off the milk. Theeeeen have fun trying to get her to eat from a dish haha.

You can buy kitten milk from Walmart or a Pet supermarket if they're still open. A 5 week old kitten can eat canned kitten food mixed with the kitten milk just fine. A kitten will weight 1 lb. for every month of age, so if you can weigh her it will give you a good idea of her age (ex: a 4 week old kitten will weigh about 1 lb, a 5 week old kitten will weigh 1.25 lbs, etc). Younger than 3 weeks and they need bottle feeding and no solids.

We happen to be doing the same thing, only the mom had three kittens outside and something got two of them. I think she was only about 2-3 weeks, so I went to the feed store and bought a tiny bottle. They also have the kitten formula, but when I ran out I just picked up baby formula at the grocery store, and she is doing great. Good Luck, and Bless you for caring.

a syringe is the best...get some kmr (kitten milk replacement) it sales at petsmart and walmart the powdered is best because you can make what you need when you need it...you can try to estimate her age by 1lb=1month, 2lbs=2months, 3lbs=3months...not always accurate but close and she can get off the kmr at 6-8 weeks...also you can supplement the milk with gerber baby food the meat flavored ones only give it 5-10 seconds in the microwave and this will also train her to use a bowl and she wont be able to resist the smell or taste of it...good luck i have had many young baby stray kittens before so any questions give me an email

We found three sickly kittens in the middle of the highway once. I can tell you what we did. We called our local vet and fed them from a syringe until they were comfortable with the dish. Yes, cows milk makes them gassy hehe. Then they liked the meat baby foods like turkey and gravy and such. Then move onto kitten chow and cat chow and so forth. Have fun =]

I strongly suggest taking her to the vet in the next few days to make sure she's healthy plus the vet can tell you what you need to do. And like the first post said some stores sell kitten milk or formula.

Any new kitten's first priority should be to go to the vet. They will give it a proper exam and vaccinations if old enough. They will let you know exactly what you should be feeding it. Also, remember to spay or nueter when it's old enough, after a few months old I think. It will need other shots and a booster after that for the first year.

Well, until she's old enough to eat dry food, just give her pretty soft food, gradually decreasing the amount of moistness in it. If she's teething, definitely soft food.

Another solution is to get an "adopted mom" cat for her, or if you really get clueless, try asking your local vets or pet clinic for ideas. Good luck!
