The last song on the Phop CD--That is to say, the Original London Cast version(1987) of The Phantom of the Opera. It is actually to say the last track, for there are several songs included.

It works every time, no matter what.

Whenever I hear "Alyssa Lies" I cry. My kids apparently aren't as moved (or just don't get what the song is saying) because they roll their eyes at me everytime the song comes on the radio.

Btw, it's a country song by Jason Michael Carroll.

I do.

It is a very old song by a christian band called Petra. The name of the song is "For Annie".

It's about a teenage girl who winds up killing herself with a bottle of pills because her life spins out of control. Her family finds her dead and realizes that they never told her about the love of Jesus, or about his sacrifice for her. They went to church, but they never told her Jesus Loved Her, never told her that they cared for her and what was going on in her life. They only realized it when "it was too late for Annie".

Whether a person of faith or not, I wonder how many parents of kids and teens out there really talk to their kids and more importantly, really LISTEN to them. If not, maybe you should.

Oh, and a little "Yoda wisdom":

Don't say "I try".

"Do not try. DO, or DO NOT. There is no try."

Hope this helps...
