no, angels no longer exist in the wild; all angel hair pasta is from farm raised angels

Of course the Italians have unknown resources.
St. Francis for example and St Catherine of Sienna.

They might have got some but I doubt it came to the American market.

But to be sure I think you should ask Mother Angelica.

One way to find out.
Have angel's hair pasta for dinner,
then have devil's food cake for dessert.
If you have a violent reaction, I would say the answer to your question is yes.

P.S. They are just very thin noodles. As thin as hair that's why it's called angel HAIR.
