Interesting question- If Jesus visited me, I pray that I would be a combination of Martha and Mary- make a nice meal of fish maybe, and then sit at his feet and learn from him, like Mary did, and not worry about the food that is being served.

Depending on the season: Cold weather - homemade vegetable soup and cornbread or avocado sandwich made on homemade whole wheat bread. Hot weather: a large variety fresh fruit, or a veggie tossed salad and pizza. Jesus has a tree in heaven that bears 12 different fruits! Yummmy! No slaughter houses in heaven because there's no death there.

Pasta. A nice Fettucini Alfredo with some lemon braized chicken. I assume Jesus would bring the wine.

I'd suddenly turn into the best darn Jewish cook a Gentile like me can possibly be. And it would probably make Him chuckle at my antics and calm me down the way He did Martha.

Jesus Christ is holy and will never take part or eat things that we are eating. He is God and he is pure, he is also a spirit. God was made into flesh in order for humans to understand. Now he is in heaven and will visit but does not eat such things.

Pork chops!

(for those of you that don't get it, Jesus was Jewish)
(and it's against Jewish custom/religion/tradition to eat pork)
(so I'd be making a food that \the Son of God wouldn't eat)
(which is funny, cause he's God, but can't eat pork chops)
(and I love 'em)
(especially with mango salsa and cinnamon apples)
(mmmm, pork chops)

I'd also tell him all I had to drink was water, leave a pitcher of it in front of him, wink, then turn around.

(...if you need this explained, God(tm) help you)

Fish & Chips...
I'd ask him to stroll out on the lake and pick up a couple fish. Then he'd need to divide my last piece of bread, so we could fix up a nice batter...

I'd suggest going out somewhere, so I wouldn't have to subject Him to my cooking.
