So , the kitten has soil inside his mouth and his tongue from looking for nutrition. (He has been at least 20 hours away from his mother) and we found him because of his cries from within the garden, he was apparently dragged by his mom in a gap on a wood bank
My QUESTION is..!(lol im really sorry. we're kinda new at this)
Is it okay for the kitten to be drinking milk if he might have soil on his mouth? he's only 3 or 4 days old.. I'm worried if his tummy can take it.. Obviously I don't think it's normal, but my parents don't seem to be that worried.. (Dad says if it doesn't happen again it's probably allright and my mom says since he started drinking milk again and things seem to go back to normal it'll probably work out)
Please don't send any hate responces or assume that we're irresponsible!Because that isn't true and it wouldn't be helpful for our situation (by the way its after 8, vets are closed)
I care for the kitten's safety and any helpful tips is welcome
Thank you all !

The kitten in question is actually drinking his mommy's milk, but what i'm worried about is ,if he drinks the soil with the liquid and it ends up in his stomach..

Go to a pet store and get replacement mother's milk. Many cats are lactose intolerant and cannot handle cow's milk.Contact a vet for a checkup ASAP.Good Luck

Your intentions are good, however, kittens shouldn't have cow's milk. They need Kitten Milk Replacer. Cats are usually lactose intolerant and get intestinal upsets and diarrhea from milk. If you're worried about the soil in his mouth, have someone help you pry it open and rinse it out. Just hold the kitten sideways so it doesn't go down his throat. Keep him warm and use a warm washcloth to wash his face and wipe his rear. This mimics what the momma would do and helps get his system going. Kittens only 3 or 4 days old need to be fed very often, so you've got a big job. If you know of someone with a momma cat and young kittens, you could try to foster the kitten on that momma (rub the momma's blanket on the kitten first). Good luck. I think you're going to need it.

You could call an emergency animal vet or hospital and just for their advice over the phone. I don't think the soil will cause damage unless there is chemicals in the soil. Some mother cats abandon their kittens if they are touched by humans. They can smell it on the kitten. You will need to get some kitten formula as cow's milk will give it diarreah.

Milk is usually not good for cats, since most are lactose. It can cause vomiting and diarrhea, which is not nice. Use water instead to clean your cat's mouth.

If he got some dirt in his mouth, it could have been gently wiped out. If he is back to nursing from his mom now, don't worry, he'll be fine.
