Which media player is better?JetAudio (7) or Videolan (VLC)?

videolan is definitely better. there is nothing that it cant play.

very capable. any streams, any format. you name it.

and video lan is open source, that is it is supprted by the community. therefore if there are any updates and improvements, it will be avaiable to you at no charge.

jetaudio is private.

Personally, I like Windows Media Player 11 the best.

I have Video Lan but I only use it when I find that WMP 11 won't play something. I find DVD's to be a problem with WMP. I'm not sure I have it set up correctly or it that is a common headache with WMP.

I found VL to be okay, and real simple to use, but I like the overall appeal of WMP better.

I haven't studied how much RAM etc. each requires to run yet thought. I need to do that. Although I have plenty 3G and a 2.1 G Core2Duo so "resources" are an issue with me.

I haven't used Videolan.
I tried Jet Audio and didn't like it.
Why not use iTunes?
