well we can shave again (see leviticus), however I believe according to some verses it is still a sin (since lust and fornication are sins, then homosexuality would still be one, since no way exists for them to marry) anyway it is more vague. Start here:

it is a step in the right direction, under jewish law, they were to be killed, but that is over with after the NT.
I take it that jesus, made the point that none can judge by god's laws but god. Hence the story of him stopping the people from stoning the woman

First Jesus came to fulfill the law not do away with it....the old testament laws that were civil and ceremonial ended at the cross. The absolutes like do not kill remain even today.
Second....Romans 1 (in the New Testament) talks about those of a depraved mind that turned the worship of God into worshiping the creation instead of the Creator and exchanging what God intended for something else. Still saying that homosexuality is a sin.

The law is for our protection, for our use, for our happiness. It is a guide to a happy, healthy long, productive life here on this earth. There is no reason to do away with it. Get real.
Especially the fourth commandment which explains that we can get a special blessing from God if we honor Him on His Holy Day the seventh, Saturday, Sabbath. All followers of Christ are to keep the seventh day Saturday holy from sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night. That is what the Bible says.
Man has tried to change the Christian day of worship to Sunday. They started to do that during the great apostasy in the original Christian church about 200 years after Christ returned to His home in heaven. During that apostasy many other pagan practices along with Sunday worship crept into the church. Then that eventually brought on the protestant revolution which brought many beliefs back to the Bible except until much later when a few denominations were raised up by God to bring back the true day of seventh day Sabbath worship.

Jesus did not come to do away with the law- He came to fulfill it. He came and taught us the heart is what matters. If Jesus came to abolish the OT laws on sin, then sin, like homosexuality would not be condemned in the NT- like in Romans Chap. 1. By the way, all sin is still sin, and always will be sin- that is why Jesus came to forgive and redeem us.

A careful reading of the New Testament will reveal that Jesus said He didn't come to do away with the Mosaic Covenant, but to *fulfill* it!
And, sorry to disappoint you, "zzz", but the New Testament also clearly teaches that homosexuality is a sin!

If we are going by old testament, then it's a sin to wear clothes made of different fabrics at the same time. It's a sin to let two types of cattle graze together. It's permissable to sell your daughter a slave. If a virgin is raped, then the rapist must pay her father 50 sheckles and she marries him. Thats ok to. Anyone who says that the old testament should still be in effect is a sick mother f****r.
And if thats just the old testament, who are you to decide what to pick and choose?

Matthew 5 (New King James Version)
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Jesus came to show us how mankind could move forward in spiritual growth. There is reference to homosexuality being wrong in the New Testament as well, so even if this person said exactly what you say they said I don't see how it changes anything????
