Help needed with AIM...?

My friend and I are both running AIM 5.9 and we cannot do video IM. When it connects, it gives us a solid black screen with no sound. Rarely, we'll get a picture, but no sound. Anyone know of a way we can fix this?

shut off your firewalls, make sure your web cam is working right, and make sure you both have it configured proprely, and that you have HIGH speed internet, web cams make slow internt soooooo laggy.

try using aim pro

stop using aim. goto stickam.com and sign up. you will see the difference.
