Galatians 1:6-10 (HCSB, Holman Christian Standard Bible)

No Other Gospel

6 I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ, [and are turning] to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another [gospel], but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him! 9 As we have said before, I now say again: if anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

10 For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

Matthew 16:13-20 (HCSB, Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Peter's Confession of the Messiah
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"

14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist; others, Elijah; still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

15 "But you," He asked them, "who do you say that I am?"

16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God!"

17 And Jesus responded, "Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the forces of Hades will not overpower it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven."

20 And He gave the disciples orders to tell no one that He was the Messiah.

Any religion that does not recognize Jesus Christ as the Son of God is a false religion.

The simple answer is yes, But more importantly we should note that Paul was writing to Christians.

They were drifting away from the truths that Christ taught and Christianity eventually became fully corrupted (compromised) by false, pagan, and even old Jewish concepts.

Be careful then because even some sects of Christianity are false.
Better not to point a finger in judgment but rather to prove to ourselves that we individually have a true faith based on the original teachings of Jesus and not some inherited religion that may well be very far away from the that which pleases God.

YES it is. God said in His word "it cannot be added to nor taken away from". It is complete in itself. You cannot come along 6oo years after Christ and claim to be a prophet and write a book saying it is from God, or as with the Mormons and the book of Mormons it is not of God. God's word tells us"neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given to man whereby you must be saved" not Muhammad, not Allah not Buddha or any other. Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the father except through me" pretty exclusive I would say. Jesus just a prophet, no way He is the Son of God He is God, see the book of John Chapter 1 verse 1 then look at verse 14.

The way I see it, if a religion leads you to a better life, leads you to a good relationship with God or knowledge of the Divine or Ultimate Reality, makes you fulfilled and at peace and compassionate, then that is a true religion.

Many Muslims find that Islam does all this for them, and therefore it is a true religion for them.

Ummm...yeah..."Galatians" is a Roman addition to the Gospels written by the Roman Tax Collector Saul (aka St. Paul). Ignore anything written by Saul...his ONLY job was to pervert and paganize the Evangelicals of Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him).

The Qu'ran is NOT another "Gospel"...it IS the confirmation of the Jewish Torah and the Evangelicals of Jesus (PBUH) and the last instruction given to man.

I'm not sure how Islam (the complete and total submission to the will of GOD) could possibly be a "FALSE" religion in God's eyes since those who practice Islam NEVER put another god together with the ONE TRUE GOD, they NEVER try to "humanize" God and give him a son and they NEVER worship ANYTHING BUT GOD (not trees, not "saints" not popes, not crosses, not books and not some guy GOD created).

They DO believe in the Prophets, ALL OF THEM from Adam (PBUH) to Jesus (PBUH) to Mohammad (PBUH). They also believe that God doesn't change his mind and make the "Ten Commandments" void...the Law is the Law and since it is God's Law it is unchanging and immune to human whims.

Islam states that there is only one religion that pleases God. Think about it Adam (PBUH), Noah (PBUH) and Abraham (PBUH) all practiced Islam...then it bacame known as Judaism because it was only practiced by the tribes of Judah. Christianity is a name coined by the Romans to describe a Jewish sect that was claiming Christ the Messiah had come...they are all ISLAM (the complete and total submission to the will of God).

well the Islamic religion prays to the same god as the christian god. It believes jesus was a phrophet and so was muhammed. So I dont see why it realy matters which person told people about god. It only matters if they pray to god

yes, Islam takes information from the Bible and twists it around. I'm not criticizing any body's religion but it's the truth. Allah didn't rise from the dead he's still in the grave but Jesus is risen!
