The journey, definitely. The destination is important, but what's there to look forward to beyond that? Unless, of course... you're taking many journeys. Then the answer would be both.

Bottom line is this though: Most people live their lives without causing a ripple. The journey is the ripple. If you cause multiple ripples... you're pretty exceptional. Enjoy the ride. Or rides.

It is both. If you have a boring journey, there is nothing to talk about once you reach the destination.

Focusing on the destination focusses you, which can hamper your ability to adapt and can make you overly focused on power and control, but will also prevent you from giving up of wandering of. Your rigidiy may get you stuck though, unwilling to accept having reached your destination, because it turned out to be different form how you had imagined it.

Focusing on the journey means you will allow experiences to influence you, which can be good and bad. You allow yourself to be transformed which makes sure you learn and grow more quickly, but there is too much to experience of master in one lifetime. If you do not have a theme or basis you won't be able to integrate your experiences, powers and knowledge and they will remain disfunctional bagage.

Both.
I don't really care about the destination that much, but the journey is where it's at.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Because in moving from one place the the other, we learn a little something about both.

Mostly, the journey.

It is both. As a Christian, I am promised eternity in heaven, when I die. But in the meantime, I am promise dGod's protectin, provision, fellowship, love, and a whole bunch of other things that help me along my journey! Those promises help us witness to others and be good examples of how Jesus has asked us to live our lives here on earth. It can be quite fun actually!

Definitely the journey. I like the quote that says "all the way to heaven is heaven."
