the "real" personality behind new names and avatars? I wonder sometimes if a new one is someone I already know. Say one who used to come. It has become sort of a trivial pursuit for me to match up "users" with known personalities.Does anyone else do this?

I've been here for a long time. Since February of 2006. I had to delete my old account (it was also called Heron by the Sea), because I felt a certain threat, which I won't go into the details of. It's a shame they didn't have the block user thing back then. I was on level 6 and was on the leaderboard when I had to delete my account.

I do have another account that I use from time to time. I do not use it to go against the community guidelines, so I think it's ok to have this other account. Can you guess which one it is? Actually, probably not, because I rarely use it. But it's got me written all over it! tee hee, now you will have fun trying to guess.

I have been on here for quite a while and haven't changed a thing but have seen a lot of people try and hide behind a new avatar. The way questions are asked and answered will usually give away the identity of a regular.

I have been the same person since I got here a year and 1/2 ago...but I do know what you are saying...I have really wondered the same thing at times...
I just guess it all comes down to truthfulness.

You're far too young to worry your pretty little head about such things. I was here before under a different name and was in level 5, but got kicked out by YA for expressing my opinions, even though I knew they would ruffle feathers.
Some people have far too much authority (real or imagined).

I have fun, that is all I care about. I often wonder if someone is a female or male because it is so easy to be confused. I am also interested in how many regulars have a troll account.

sometimes. Usually though it's a person I really didn't get along with anyway. (that is if it's the same one)

People every once in a while do not believe that it is really me posting a question or answer because once in awhile the monster in the closet gets out and then I feel I soil myself more or less.

I am fairly new to Yahoo Answers. But, here long enough to know a certain person that uses a certain word to 'slam' Christains. I shouldn't say because I just think that people that try to hurt people are hurting themselves. (Sometimes).....

Yes, I do that a lot. However, I am pretty faithful to my style and I try my best to treat everyone fairly...so no one should not get mad at me for giving my answer even if it is something they do not want to hear. : )

We will never know on some. Others we can figure out. If you wait, a person will give enough information to where you can figure them out.
