Kids spend so much money on their systems for 1 reason. And thats to show off to other people. Honestly, I use to be that way. But, I was smart. I spent $299 getting an alarm that had remotes w/sensors that showed if someone intruded into the car before I spent any money on my system. It deosn't matter what kind of car it is, Hyundai, Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, ect. bringing attention to yourself will give any thief suspicion and ideas to break into the vehicle. A thief will steal anything of any value. CD's, CD Player, Phone, or if they have time the whole dog gone system. Unfortunately it's his own fault for not taking precautions. I hope this helps.

im a kid (21) and i spent $1500 just on my amp and subs not to mention $900 on the cd player and mids and highs and countless hours wiring it all up and makin boxes and custom desgins to make it look better
call me crazy or cheap but i dont have an alarm....
but dont call stupid because i never turn it up so you can hear it outside my car unless im far away from a place i go often or my destination...i park my car in my driveway next to my bedroom window and i can see my car all day at work
so i assume you knew when your co-worker got to work?
i think alot of kids believe no one will ever steal their stuff...sometimes its shady friends(kids) or just reality....what goes around comes around.....you want to know you are being seen you will find out when you are being seen

Some ppl are just dumb. Putting over $1k of audio in a Hyundai? Invest that into getting a car that actually comes with a decent sound system. Then it might actually last longer than 5 years.

If anyone puts big dollars in car audio they have a real problem. Its so eazy for a pro to steal there system and sell it off for cash. And if they think its safe 24-7 there stupid. They are a guy at my job with around 2 grand in his car system. He stoped to buy a birthday card for his mother came out and no more system.

regardless, it's still thievery. if i go around flashing lights in my house putting big screen tv's in view from the windows, does that give ppl a right to break into my house cuz i'm drawing attention? or if i wear a bunch of jewelry on myself, and nice clothing, i can get mugged and not supposed to get mad?
