I would recommend pure Vitamin E . Just get the liquid vit. E or pop a hole in a capsule & rub it onto your lips. Vit. E is real soothing & it will heal chapped lips. Sounds like you need to drink more water too. When a person gets dyhydrated the lips get chapped & crack open.

Carmex is the best. This is old school stuff, but it is still the best thing for chapped lips. It should be next to all the other lip balm in the store.

There is an oil I found in a local health store that seems to work well. I don't use petroleum-based products: Those actually seem to worsen the problem, and there is a history of petroleum sensitivity in my family.

don't use vaseline, it is petroleum based!!
get a quality lip salve which is NOT petroleum based, prferably with Vitamin E in it cos that is really good for healing damage to skin..
try lush or body shop

i put olive oil to keep it moist...........i also put medicated lip balm, just make sure there is no alcohol in it. oh and the most inportiant thing is to NEVER lick them because it just makes it dryer
