An Irish proverb.
Three things at which a fool laughs:
That which is good,
That which is bad,
That which they do not understand.
Look for Zoroaster; maybe you're laughter will diminish.

Zoroaster(Zarathustra) was the great Prophet and founder of Zoroastrianism(perhaps around 1200 BC),whose holy book is the Avesta. It was the first religion to emphasize the struggle between God(Ahura Mazda) and His Yazatas(angels)and Ahriman(Satan) and his evil daeva/demons and our ethical obligations as humans to choose between good and evil, which would result in how we spent our afterlife.
