It's not weird. One question: do you mean your armpits or the underside of your actual arms? If it's your armits then it could either be a razor bump/trapped hair folicle, or a pimple from your sweat glands being disrupted and getting clogged up. If it's on your arm then either it is, again, a pimple, or it is psoriasis keratosis, which is a very common condition and is basically that the hair focicles are being clogged up with dead skincells causing raised bumps which redden due to the irritated hair folicle but aren't actually pimples...very occasionally one may have some pus in it if it's been particularly irritated. PK is hereditary and can't be solved, but can be controlled. It's more a cosmetic issue with getting rid of it because it does not harm you at all. Basically you need to keep a maintenance routine going that uses things like toners and moisturisers or cleansers etc that have salicylic acid etc in it that is designed to help break down dead skin cells and help with the turn over of for new skin cells. By rights, the idea is that if you can reduce the build u of the dead skin cells then none can clog up the hair folicles so no bums will occur.

Depends on what sort of "pimple" you are talking about. I have seen just little white pimples from sweat, bigger red lumps caused by aluminium irritation (in deoderants go for one with 5% or less), and big 1in by 1/2in lumps which are blocked sweat glands. They are hugely painful (but the best for gross factor LOL).

I agree with the other advice given,
shave slowly with a sharp razor,
dry well,
use antipersperant deoderant not just a "deoderant" as they just mask smell and don't stop sweat production,
if doing something thats physically demanding & sweating a lot at the end get a flannel/wash cloth and wipe under arms (if you can't shower straight away) and reapply deoderant.

If very painful or gets worse I would see a doc just to be sure. And don't worry they have seen much more embarassing things than underarm pimples

You can get a pimple (not often) under the arm, due to sweat, persperation, the deoderant all mixed together & moving your arms around. Example you put on deoderant, goout and play some sport , you sweat, just like your face you can get a pimple under your arm, it's friction evrything rubbing together, The best thing you can do us soak it with hot water & as strange as this sounds then rub some soap on it let it sit for a minute & then wipe off with cold water. It will go away. Sounds like fun huh?

If they are appearing in your arm pits maybe look at the ingredients in your deodorant you might be allergic to it. If it's not that try washing the area more thoroughly when taking a bath or shower. If it still doesn't clear up ask your doctor, i'm sure they can proscribe you with something. hope i helped!

if you mean your armpits, they're probably not pimples...its most likely razor burn. you're getting an irritation from your razor, or the shaving cream you use. try switching to a razor with less blades, or use a shaving cream meant for sensitive skin. if none of this works, go to the dermatologist.

either from sweating a lot or your deodorant is causing a break out. and yes razor burn is possible. change your deodorant . and use a talc powder . gold bond is good. after shaving under your arms be sure to wash them good . first.
